Wenaha Gallery - Featured Artist for Christmas Kickoff

Laura Gable will be the featured artist at the Wenaha Gallery in Dayton, Washington for their Christmas Kickoff celebration held the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The show features Laura's sensitively crafted large and small landscapes and vineyard themed paintings. A large number of the paintings were painted outdoors in nearby locations, while the rest were inspired by these field studies. The show continues through mid December. The Christmas Kickoff will also feature the Rastovich/Ostergaard family of artists, plus resident artist Steve Henderson.

This dynamic gallery is noted for showcasing many Pacific Northwest artists as well as other nationally recognized artists. It is located in the quaint village of Dayton, Washington at the base of the Blue Mountains - a popular destination throughout the year. In business for over 20 years, it is located in the historic Guernsey-Sturdevant building, next to the historic Weinhard Hotel, and along the alleyway from the Dayton Historic Railway Depot. Prosperous in the late 1800's to early 1900's, the town boasts many large impressive homes, commercial, and public buildings in the Queen Anne, Italianate, Gothlic and Craftsman style.

A lovely article about Laura's take on painting en plein air, written by author Carolyn Henderson, is showcased on the gallery's blog:
