By day, this wetland is dramatic-- when a variety of waterfowl fill the marshy edges. As the sun sets and the night comes, it takes on a magical quality. A night of almost complete stillness, with just a soft rustling from the gentle breeze
as it passes through the tall grasses. Bird calls echo quietly
the night's beacon rises above the far horizon. I was embraced by this feeling of solitude, yet completely enfolded by the lovely night.
