Echoes of Harmony: The artwork of Laura Gable

ECHOES OF HARMONY brings together a selection of works that reflect Laura Gable's deep engagement with the landscape of the Inland Northwest. Whether created in the field or refined in the studio, each painting demonstrates her ability to translate observation into a resonant visual experience. Her compositions balance structure and spontaneity, inviting viewers to linger in the interplay of light, movement, and color.

An important aspect of Laura's "story" is her on-site painting where she deals with weather and light changes including adapting to adverse conditions while crafting a painting in the open air (fondly called "plein air painting"). This brings something new to the Spokane art scene.

The Marmot Art Space was the heartfelt creation of Marshall Peterson, who sadly passed in June. The gallery is now reopened by some of his previous artists and it being wonderfully stewarded by the gallerists Chelsea Cordova and Kelly Baker of the Front Room Gallery in Spokane. We hope you can visit this unique space during the month of October. They will have the gallery open 3 days a week, but please contact them if you are in the area at a different time and would like to walk inside. Laura plans to be present at the opening and on the following Saturdays: October 3, 10, 24 and 31. The gallery will be open the rest of the month as noted below.
